This commission nourishes and gives direction to the liturgical and communal prayer life of the community. The members collaborate with the pastor and staff on liturgy preparation, the training and formation of the various liturgical ministers, and the formation of the assembly about the sacraments and liturgy.
By virtue of baptism, each of us is called to minister to the needs of one another. To make our liturgies truly life-giving celebrations requires the gifts of everyone. Our hope is that you will prayerfully consider becoming a part of one of these ministries. Training is provided for all areas. If you're interested in sharing your talents with the Liturgy Commission or as a Liturgical Minister, please let us know!
“The liturgy is the summit toward which the activity of the Church is directed; it is also the fount from which all her power flows.” Vatican II: Constitution on Sacred Liturgy
