Outreach and Advocacy Ministry at Christ Our Hope

Outreach and advocacy ministry coupled with vibrant celebrations of liturgy, are truly the cornerstone of our community at Christ Our Hope.  Our efforts in this ministry are overseen by the Outreach Commission.  We are passionate about the social mission of the church and are committed to answering Pope Francis' call to be a people of mercy, especially to those most marginalized in our society and world.

The WWC would like to thank the parish for all of your ongoing support over the past year. In 2017 with your continuing support we have been able to provide 707 unduplicated homeless women with basic service needs like laundry, shower, and refreshments. Recently WWC has undergone many transitions to our systems and program as a whole but with new efforts WWC is now able to provide a light meal and focus on hygiene needs for the women as well as client outreach to come which will focus more on housing assistance. WWC will continue to help single adult homeless women with their shower, laundry and housing application needs thanks to our largest donor base coming from Christ Our Hope Church. We would like to call on you all this winter season in hopes that we can raise some donations for the ladies to assure their basic needs are met during the coldest time of the year.
